I just want to say how much I enjoy all your videos...but I really love the "FOOD" ones...are these all your own concoctions or recipes you find along the way..whichever way they look delish and I wish I could whip up food like yours. Keep them coming...but I also like your VEDA's and your Friday Funbits and everything in between...you are such a nice and honest person..wish there were more like you in this crazy mixed up world. Medora, To tell you honestly, I rarely follow a recipe with the exception of baking which is a science. I usually look to see what we have in the fridge or what is fresh at the market and imagine which flavors would do well combined together. Typically, I call hubby at work during the day, tell him what his options are and then make something up. Last night we had ground beef and several fresh peppers so I made my version of Shawarma which is probably better know in the US as Gyros. Not having a spit at home, I made the flavor speak to the dish rather then the actual cut of rotating meat. It was a success and not a single bit was left. I think the reason I enjoy cooking so much is because it equates to LOVE fro me. Thank you so much for your kind words - I share myself and mostly don't know how it's received so this is very nice to hear. :) Natasha
